Tessa and Louis

Venue: Parkway by the Lake

On Friday, I shot my last wedding before my big move so it was a bittersweet day for me, but I had a great great time. Tessa and Louie are perfectly suited for each other. They literally could not stop laughing the whole time I was with them. Here is a taste of their day.

Amy and Ryan

Venue: Arrowhead Gold Club

During the maid of honor speech, Amy's sister said that Ryan and Amy fit together like pieces of a puzzle. Even though I've only known Amy and Ryan a short time, I have to say, I totally agree. Totally in love, totally excited to spend the rest of their lives together.

Arrowhead Golf Club was top notch--a beautiful setting with wonderful service

Gorgeous light...

See what I mean about their happiness??

Cristina and Christopher

Venue: The Odyssey at Navy Pier

What do you get when you have a couple totally smitten with each other, really cool blue shoes, and the fun rides at Navy Pier? A really cool wedding! Cristina and Christopher were married on Sunday and couldn't have asked for better weather!

How cute are they?

This was only my second wedding aboard the Odyssey...what a great, unique venue...

The light was beautiful on Sunday.

Max discovers nature and the joy that is the University of Colorado--Boulder

We went to my parents place in Boulder last week. Max had a great time. He's been several times but this is the first time we really had time/weather to spend outside...

Stacy and Pat

Venue: Galleria Marchetti

Pat and Stacy were married on Friday at Galleria Marchetti in Chicago. Stacy is my eye doctor and Pat is a golf pro at the Diversey Golf Range here in Chicago. He looked really familiar when he walked in and I realized that I took a lesson with him around three years ago. I was horrible and never played golf again! So I knew both the bride and the groom and I love shooting weddings for people I know.

I've had lots of receptions at Galleria but never a ceremony. What a gorgeous garden! They were married outside on a perfect day.

Stacy looked so gorgeous. Her dress was a dress that few can wear--you have to be slim to wear this gown.

She managed to borrow some beautiful jewelry from a jeweler for the big day

Something tells me these two are really happy to be getting married!

When in Chicago, you must show the "el"....

Since Pat is a golfer, there was a certain theme to the reception. That theme, of course, was golf. And with golf comes lots of grass and golf tees!

Another fabulous dip at the reception...
